But it's not detecting any networks, not just 02. Tried a foreign SIM, and same story.

well i got the same issue (o2 customer UK), I am 98% sure it's not the N9 problem

I'll take your word for it, for now ... but it seems fishy that it's not detecting any networks at all, when I try to select them manually ... and it did this immediately after I updated it.

my mothers and sisters Nokia's(5530, 5300) can't connect to o2 neither nor connect to other networks. and they are not running N9 pr 1.3

I also got this problem but it went away after two reboots, for some once is enough.

You sure the other SIM works and hasnt been deactivated for non use?

Well Nokia do at least know how to build a decent phone, just apparently don't know how to support it..

Well when I tried and failed to use it the other week, it detected all the networks ... just wouldn't allow me to connect to them, as I realised I had no roaming facility :P
