Pardon a silly question but... would restarting tracker help?
Or not applicable on N9?

BTW I found that
Code:
find /starting-dir -name *bla*
is noticeably faster than
Code:
find /starting-dir | grep *bla*

Ah thanks for that -name string will use it the next time

Tracker reset would help but then you lose messages and call logs which is not really a good idea...


P.S. I assume you mean tracker-control -r/-e; if something else please mention it

I meant "tracker-processes -r" as per this post.
It is also about the N9 BTW.

I'll try it later but Schturman's post after that says it works on the n900 only and for the n9 a tracker-reset is the only way other than removing media and re-transferring them back...
