If you were going to do NitDroid in the N9 would it be advisable to get the 64gb version rather than the 16gb version? If I understand correctly (the 16gb) has 8gb for storage and 8gb reserved for the system.. of which 4gb is for apps.

That's news to me. Thanks for sharing.

How would it make it "a better working Ics for us"?

Eyeballs = money (donation, interest, thanks, etc.). Maybe even people that can help e-eyes.

If my fellow Ruskiy can do it, I highly doubt he'll hold off due to shortage of donations....

...I could be wrong....it is nice that he's getting the recognition...

Netflix works on NITDroid for the N900. So does SlingboxPlayer incidentally.

Actually +1, Harmattan IS good enough, BUT not when you want apps. I want an N9 just because it's pretty in terms of both software and hardware, it's Linux-based and it's fun to play around with. My require for apps forced me to install NITDroid on my N900 and finally leading me to buying a legacy Android phone for "development" and a powerful tablet for gaming. See? You need Android on Harmattan devices for APPS.

I disagree. A Dalvik runtime would solve the app situation.

Having ICS is for people who only like the N9's hardware.

Both are dangerous because it will be easier to use an Android app than to create something specific for Harmattan.

Well, who do you think will start creating anything specific for Harmattan other than ppl who already work in Qt for Symbian?
