What has happened until now is that the servers have automatically extended the expiration date one year, but looks like that's over now. My account says it expires on May, and probably I will have to pay.
The verification is not in the client, it's in the servers. The servers will reject logins to expired accounts forcing them to pay.

Yes, I'm afraid people using Yappari will have to pay.
Edit: Read on some other forums that their experation date was extended by 6 months when they changed their policy. So I might just be very close to it.

LIke I said, the expiration date has been renewed automatically by the servers a year until November 2012.
But looks like it is over now, and next time your account expire you'll have to pay.
