Oh yeah that'd be nice, I thought you were meaning you couldn't swipe at all. My bad

I just realized that horizontal swiping would cause problems when swiping to the left since it would bring you back to camera mode.

Very true, my brain clearly isn't functioning properly as that didn't occur to me. Very silly

Would it be possible to have multitouch zoom as well as the volume buttons?

Ability to swipe between pictures would be good too.
Do you mean that the current thumbnail should be smaller than the rest?

A few other points:
* Hiding zoombar initially: That is doable (1 line change). I will do that.

* swiping/flicking between pictures:
- Horizontal flicking seems more logical but there are 2 issues: If you flick too far then you have to flick all the way back to viewfinder. The other issue is I can always make the viewfinder the beginning of the list but then settings have to be moved somewhere else.

What I mean is I can easily inject an item in addition to the list of imaes. That Item will be the viewfinder which means we need to find a place for settings.

- Vertical flicking and zooming:
That is the problem I am trying to tackle now but it seems that we either allow flicking or allow zooming. I am still unable to make both work correctly. It's the same for zooming with pinch gesture or volume keys.

Sorry for being vague. It should be larger than the rest, but not as large as it is now.

Another feature request:
* Adding a self-timer for both pictures and videos.

I did it that large on purpose so I can see it properly
I'll try to make it a bit smaller

Self timer is planned but I need to find a place to add that option. The viewfinder is a bit cluttered so I am still trying to think of something smart.

Here comes 0.0.10
* Reworked post capture view
* Added pinch zoom to images in post capture view
* Fixed accidental capture when moving to post capture while proximity is closed
* Added a night mode option for dimming viewfinder

I wanted to fix the problems with settings not being properly restored upon startup but work and my cold are to be blamed this time

i have a feature request, sort of. i really like the post-capture view, better, in fact, than any other image viewer available on the n9.

could you, um, add a directory selector to it?
