toubletap the entry in the list quickly, it should light up green.

then hit yes and things should be working...

tho it may be that the htpc is asking for user verification before the connection completes, mileage may wary.

More like bazillion tap it. Just keep tapping and tapping.
Ah, how we all hate them bugs...

Anyway, BlueMaemo's reconnect feature seems to get screwed up when two "computers" have the same buletooth MAC address. For example, if I am in Vista, it will auto connect. If I boot into Win 7, it will auto connect if I manually reconnect once. If I boot back into Vista, I have to do it manually once again.

I have MacOSX 10.4.11 (Tiger) and Nokia N810 and I can't get things going. I have paired both devices, but on my BT menu on the Mac I don't have the "Go -> N810" menu, how should I connect the two?
On the N810 bluemaemo ->Reconnect says "Known devices list empty"

help.

1.start bluemaemo and select new connection

2. initiate pairing from computer

3. input pin

4. wait for bluemaemo to show bluetooth name of computer in large letters!

hmm, i don't have the "New Connection" menu. I am using bluemaemo 0.2. When I start it I only see 2 icons, "Open Connection" and "Reconnect". The hardware menu key does not work.
thx

very very cool and useful app.

Two suggestions though,

Disable the keyboard touchpad area whn typing. I often wiil accidentally move the cursor instead of hitting a key

allow for key combos for the mutimedia controls so that vlc volume can be done with ctrl+up and ctrl+down.

Excellent app and thanks for putting this into maemo-extras!

I too can confirm that reconnect doesn't do anything. I have to use hidd --connect on the remote host again. Tested with Ubuntu Intrepid.
