Yes, I have commercial Maemo content in the Ovi Store.
It's in the second iteration of QA testing, so it's not available yet. I hope it will be by the end of the week, though.

haha ! look in b.m.o ... i didn't just complain ... i act !

And now i ve my own repository

And of course ... you cannot register on OVI without VAT. But not all company have a VAT in france.

That's what I heard. Some people complained about the lack of DRM too.

Aha. So not exactly there yet. Until a good month ago they did not even accept apps into QA (still waiting for their "we'll let you know when it becomes available"). Before PR1.2 there was no chance for a publisher to get commercial apps to end users (hence my it. doesn't. work.). They swear the newest revamp scheduled for this week and pr1.2 will actually lift the obstacles so can publish the actual content, but it doesn't change the fact there was (and still is, but hopefully just for a few more days now) no working store for the Maemo platform.

You heard what, exactly? And "some people complaining about something" is just not something you should repeat unless you have a real source and something that shows that it's actually a problem.

DRM is not a solution to any existing problem that doesn't hurt the end users.

Lack of DRM can hold back the development of commercial apps from what I understand
