It did not work for me... It seems libeet1 1.2.2 is not found in the repositories. Maybe there is another version of this lib?

I think this the latest version of libeet1 for firmware ver. PR1.3..it worked for me.

i applied the global solution to fix the installation of bluemaemo and now its working perfect on my win 7 ultimate 64 bits. thks for the solution

Hi guys, well before I posted my problem here I did read all that you have written here and tried it but in my case it did not solve my problem. I still canīt install bluemaemo because a problem with libeina0 so I did what you said:
Enter X terminal.
type:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install libeet1=1.2.2+svn41533-maemo1
then I get following message:
Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?
/home/user #

This happens if you have another application manager running, or more likely, HAM is checking for updates in the background, and that taaaakes reaaaallyyyy its tiiiiime...

thanks for your replay. I went to App manager then to Application catalogues and turned them all off and then tried again
sudo gainroot
apt-get install libeet1=1.2.2+svn41533-maemo1

so now I didnīt get the same message as before, instead this came up:

Couldnīt find package libeet1
what now?
