Interesting! I'm glad I put in that "other" category.

I'm coming from the Sidekick platform, and enjoyed it for the past 3 years. It's been fun to have, but I'm ready to grow a bit and have a more active OS. Also, with the recent fiasco, I'm ready to move on.

I'd be surprised if anyone here in this forum with an iphone didn't have it jailbroken.

Even jailbroken I find it restrictive and disappointing, can you imagine having it the way apple actually intend it?

The one and only thing going for the iphone is the touch screen responsiveness

G1 with Android 1.6 not rooted. One of the first, got it very early on pre-order. Still never been re-flashed or anything, just used a lot and it still works ok. But it's underpowered in more ways than one, lacks memory space and Android has been kinda disappointing. I'm ready for more serious horsepower and a real Linux OS in my pocket.

Symbian Series 60, Nokia e61i.
However, I have had an N800 and an N810 for the last (almost) 3 years.
Funny, I have carried both my e61i and the Maemo device since Jan. 2007, and throughout that time, I used the Maemo device more than 90% of the time, even though it was not a phone.
Am happy camper with my N900.
