The premise was idiotic but I did love that show!

Interestingly, a lot of its props came from a (thankfully [*]) never-been sequel to U.F.O., another Gerry Anderson marvel.

[*] For those who think that many of those revered Century 21 series deserved sequels or remakes, I dare you to watch "New Captain Scarlet" or that live Thunderbirds flick and stick to your opinion afterwards.

(actually, the CGI New Captain Scarlet wasn't too bad, but without Sylvia the costumes obviously were going to suck. Plus, there was waayy too much logic and common sense in that series)

If the hoax conspiracy crowd is unable to come up with anything better than the claims in that video then they're quite a sorry lot in my opinion.. silly, silly stuff.

What about NASA losing 700 boxes with space flight tapes (including the moon landing)?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_..._missing_tapes

1961, Yuri Gagarin of Russia (USSR) was the first man in space.
1962, Kennedy promised to put a man on the Moon before the end of 1960s (they had to show to the Russians that US is the best).
1969, Apollo 11, first man on the Moon
then Apollo 12, Apollo 13 (failed), Apollo 14, Apollo 15, 16, 17

6 successful manned Moon landings in 60s-70s

...... then nothing.

2004 - NASA said that they will go on the Moon again but the mission will be ready only in 2020.

With the technology of the 60s we were able to go 7 times, and now we have to wait 15 years to build what we need to go to the Moon?

Anyway, again, I don't say that they never went on the Moon, I'm just saying that I'm not convinced, but that is just me.

NASA is becoming worse and worse. Just look, they don't even have a space shuttle anymore! Its being decommissioned! And the replacement is still not ready!

Seriously, the next flag on the moon will be China or the EU or something.
