I hope you remember WhatsApp does have a send contact info option.

Yeah I remember, but I haven't seen in the protocol how it works. I guess I'll implement it eventually
its like a sort of vcard or something?
ps: for the location sharing...maybe a workaround is a behaviour like the chat on the N900 (telepathy,Conversation and contacts) where you can choose to show your GPS position (city level, district level, street level) and it shows in the status message like: @ Milan, Italy
actually i dont know if this is possible....i dont even know if is working only for skype or for other IM

Hello Scorpius,
Yappari is working great and version 0.0.32 has been a huge progress with lots of new features
I have a curiosity question. Every time I open Yappari in the opened chats window-list I see some empty chats. No contact info etc nothing inside. I'm posting a screenshot and sorry if this has been asked already.

Have you been leaving groups recently?
It has happened me two times and I haven't found why yet, but I'm almost sure it has something to do with leaving groups.
You can't get rid of them except by deleting /home/user/.yappari/chats.db.

Yes, a day a few friends and I went out of a group to create and enter a new one. I don't remember exactly if the empty chats happens since then.

thanks for such a nice app ..... i was using since v00.29 now v00.33 but from yesterday it give connection error .....
is this yappari problem or watsapp server down .....
no log also found
