I couldn't make the blacklist, I've been very busy at work.
@ankit_shlok how did you install Yappari in the first place?
Go to the first post of this thread. There's links to download Yappari there. Close Yappari if it's running before installing a new one.

I have noticed that Yappari does not report when the user is typing, i.e. people cannot tell when I am typing. Just thought I'd let you know.

Seems that WhatsApp changed something again.
If WhatsApp keep changing things I'm gonna abandon the project.
EDIT: Though this one looks like a Yappari 1.0.36 bug.
EDIT 2: Definitely a Yappari bug. It is fixed for 1.0.37.

Too bad you've found about Yappari one year later.
Sadly since we can't export packages to the main extras repository (only to extras/devel which only few people have it configured in their N900 phones) nobody ever finds about Yappari until the google something like "N900 Whatsapp".
