Great! Hopefully it will soon appear in Extras!
For me, Easy Debian brings the full power of Linux to the N900. In particular, it allowed me to combine zim with Latex and run it with versioning control - things that probably will be stripped for the native app, no?

I think the best app is "I am here"

Probably the web browser, since pretty much nothing else is worth writing home about

I suggest hurrying off to the land of Jobs, where you can be told what is cool.

The web browser is OK, yes, but Easy Debian really got me hooked! And it's the latter which makes my colleagues having Androids really envious!

Mediaplayer and IbizaSonica net radio. Great shout. That combination is boss

"Cool" is not an objective criteria by which applications can be quantitively measured.
Amazing applications would be Photoshop, a beautiful full 3D game, a fully functional PSX/N64 emulator, a fully functional integrated Media Player. Commandline apps are an automatic no-go

Easy Debian sounds good, but the resolution is too low to use it well. I'm also waiting till it hits stable quality before messing around with it

Sounds like a case of be careful what you wish for! I think if you got Photoshop on the N900, you would find it no more usable than The Gimp on Easy Debian. The resolution would still be too low.

To each his own, but I find the convenience of less and joe hard to beat. And frankly, there is no file manager better than Midnight Commander (mc).

Probably a wise move.

Midnight Commander has the ugliest interface known to man.

Complex and nerd looking =/= intuitive
