I cant seem to find any conf files at /home/user/.mupen64plus/

only two empty folders: save & screenshots

I've executed the program twice now. put it to /home/mupen if that is somehow essential to know

ossipena i did run it as root and the configuration file was created in "/root/.mupen64plus", i suppose it's "/home/user/.mupen64plus" for normal user.

I did not create a deb package because it's too much work for me until it's really usable.

Why not? Assuming you have any kind of bag with you(as long as it's not too small) the PS3 controller could just be dumped in there, and when you got some time over you just pick it up and play(maybe someone crafty can create a holder so that the N900 is above the controller).

That would be nice, but is it absolutely necessary? The N64 rarely managed that feat itself and was still very playable..
