Today is already here, in EET-2 land.

Outside it is pretty dark yet, altough I do believe that sun still exists somewhere below the horizon. When it eventually will rise up in about 2 hours, I'll expect it to be very sunny since cold weather means no clouds.
And it is cold, -30C exactly when I left home for work (by bicycle of course) I suppose it could be few degrees warmer by now, and will rise a lot more when the sun is up.

There is not that much snow around, just about 30cm or so.

I find it kinda ironic to claim it was non-scalable in the same paragraph you yourself mention two different screen resolutions

But the real context was not so much display sizes but display drivers. Windows 2.0 worked on CGA, EGA, VGA, Tandy and, if I remember correctly, Hercules graphics cards. Someone here claimed that porting the Sailfish UI to a tablet was a big job because of the drivers. Windows 2.0 demonstrated over 30 years ago that this is BS. Porting some underlying layers may have been affected by different hardware to some extent but not the UI.

Even Android does this
Yes. I agree. There are many design flaws. Drivers one. But look at many other aspekt, like the 28+ partitions.
