I would like to try xbmc on the N900, but it requires 32 bpp in X.

Is it possible to configure omapfb to 24 or 32 bpp?

At first glance looks like it was mounted before the script and umount around line 34 failed.

Update: Found later in the thread that it was that mine error with quotes  missing. It should be fixed in rev 133.

Are you going to make a port for 12.10 as well?

Onfortunately I can not program, but when I can do something for this project, tell me
I hope we do
No new kernel though (AFAIK yet).
You can re-check what's working and update the wiki: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/n900#Hardware_support

Looks like I've included the fix in the unstable branch (as part of the lalit's patch), finishing the thread and starting tests soon.

That's something very unexpected, never seen anything similar. Will try to tell more after testing new version.

Guys im gone need some help again. I respect this thread and what its all about, but I got fedora booting up with bootmneu. And it boots up fine, but I got two issues.

* It complains the the filesystem is read only, although I followed the guide from Jebba to the letter.

* When it starts booting it goes to tty1, and its a shell.

Also know that i have installed Base X system and xfce through chroot in maemo.

So any hints would be great, thanks in advance.

P.S could it be a gdm thing, I dont know.

On IRC we've found that it was a stock kernel
