Glad to see some folks haven't changed a bit. Too bad some habits of my own have. Maemo is a distant memory and the arguments about how open it was/was not are a thing of the past. Verdict? Maemo wasn't as open as many touted and... that's okay.
Apple and Google are still the duopoly, so many promises of freedom came, went without mostly becoming even a footnote in a Wikipedia article. So many links are now dead, my N810 is still my favorite tool but it's all but dead.
And this forum keeps on going. Talk about tenacity.
COVID-19 has been a weird thing to deal with... vaccinations politicized, isolations enforced, economies propped up by remote work that just a year prior to the pandemic were being pushed out of style by management... and yet, we still work and do things.
Perhaps things will go back to how they once were. I hope so. I've been busier during a pandemic than ever before. Not sure how the heck that happened; however, that's my status at this moment.
Hope you all are staying safe.
