FYI - just got main app and isbn saver plugin working great. Good job! I hope to build on your script to do even more, but first wanted to see what other plugins are out there. Any way to find out?

Thanks for the help and for the work that has been done on this app!

Trying to update mbarcode i encountered a problem which is missing mbarcode-core, so i typed (apt-get install mbarcode-core) but xterm said "not available but referred to by another package so its missing, has been obsoleted or available from another source)
while typing (apt-get install mbarcode) gave me "depends : mbarcode-core but its not installable...broken packages"

Sorry about that. I've just updated the packages with a new package structure to prepare for pushing to Extras again. mbarcode is now a meta package depending on mbarcode-core (the application itself) and the plugins.

I think you must have updated in the middle of it all. Doing a good old
Code:
apt-get update && apt-get install mbarcode
should hopefully get things back on track.

Please keep us posted if it still doesn't work. I don't have a device here to test for myself at the moment, so all feedback is appreciated.

try this one Agogdata
http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d....0-4_armel.deb
This should be the mbarcode-core as I can see the files inside the deb package. So basically the mbarcode which shows on the packages is just for dependency issues?

hey Radicalz thanks for helping,
after installing the file it says "update completed" but when i type (apt-get upgrade) i see mbarcode is kept back, and when i type (apt-get install mbarcode) its the same what happened before about missing mbarcode-core.

Same here, issues with mbarcode-core dependency...

PHP Code:
Nokia-N900:~# apt-get install mbarcode
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information
... Done
Some packages could not be installed
This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation
or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

mbarcodeDependsmbarcode-core but it is not installable
E
Broken packages
