The lowest you can push it to is 2-3mW.
You can set up scripts in /etc/network/if-up.d to change the amount of power, depending on what network you're connected to. Useful if you've got a full blanket at work/home but might want more power if you're in a public area or the likes.

Any phone that is constantly connected will have crap battery life.
I'm getting sick of the moans on battery life. Its massively improved.

1. undervolt cpu to starving profile
2. overclock 500 to 805
3. enable smart reflex 1 & 2
4. dial wireless power down to minimal power (at work i use 1mw!)
5. use gsm when offline
6. occasionaly check powertop, you should have arouund 500 wakeups over 30s under sleep conditions.
7. use flight mode when you are asleep.
job done. i get 2 days always connected.
