It is possible to configure the webrequest plugin if you click the main app menu after selecting the web request plugin. That is, click the title bar when it says: "Search Providers". There you may add and edit search providers in the GUI (but you cannot sort them). If you'd like to gain some more control you may edit your ~/.config/mbarcode/webrequest-plugin.conf file. It is stored in Qt's INI-format, and should be fairly easy to edit if you take the current entries as examples.
My fault! I should have tested tapping on title bar. Don't know why I didn't come on that. I'll have a look into the config file too and see if it fits my needs. Thanks!

Seems like everything is ready for extras-testing now. If any of you would like to become a tester and help us get mbarcode through to extras you can have a look at the standard checklist for testing here and more info about extras-testing here.

The pages for voting on the packages are located here:
mbarcode
mbarcode-core
webrequest
plugin-qrcode
plugin-wifi

Remember only to vote up if you have actually tested the plugin according to the QA checklist in the link above, and vote down only if you find any blockers.

Try updating catalogs and then updating, it should be resolved with this afternoon's update.

Hi Dragly,

I am not able to update mBarCode. HAM shows me the available updates (mbarcode + plugins). When I try to apply the updates, the first one (mbarcode) fails with a message 'Unable to update mbarcode continue updating?'

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
-DJ

try "apt-get update -f" as root from console and after retry updating via HAM, worked for me.

Cheers,
b.

@Lardman,
thx for the great app, it works great but i have a question..
is it possible to put a small edge around the picture on the icon, just like the icons for word, powerpoint and excel.
it's an optical illusion but your icon looks a lot bigger than the others.

Managed to do it myself, just installed FileBox on my N900 and PhotoPlus X4 on my laptop to adjust the icon
