200k is more than 92000 tho.

Dont know what kind of stores youre bumping in to, but here in norway its pretty well advertised and all stores Ive talked to are getting several calls every about when theyre expecting the N9 in stock, as well as the fact that Telenor sold out their first shipment pretty damn fast, with too few phones to even give out to the people who preordered.

So yeah, Im foreseeing a rather big sale in Norway at least.
Would be intresting to now HOW MANY they actually got in the first batch.

That atleast could give some indication of succcefull it is already (or unsuccefull if they onlly got around 10 devices...)

Talked to some people that work at the factory, said they are still in ramp-up (meaning not making at full speed yet, some people still in training etc). A very rough guesstimate (that could be way off) was something like 1000 units per shift (8 hour shifts) being built right now. I wonder what full capacity is. They said it was easier than E7 and N8 to build

EDIT: Added "that work" - I wasn't actually at the factory.
So 3 shifts gives 3000 units a day? not a lot, if it is the only factory.

Gerbik: damn straight! More like suing for false advertising and flat out lies from their customer service regarding my phone order.

But yeah, I guess in norway I cant sue anyone for anything... I can up and shoot like 100 kids on an island tho, that seems to work wonders.

sent stephen elop an email:

"Hello, Im wondering as to wether it would be a bad idea to invest in a Nokia N9 considering several rumors around the world wide web these days, namely:

1) Only X units of the N9 will be made
2) Maemo6 / Meego Harmattan will not be supported

Any thoughts on this?

Hope for a positive reply

PS: Will Windows Phone user interface be modified by Nokia in any way on your devices or are you limited to services like for instance adding Ovi Maps?"

Im assuming no reply.

* HSPA+ (YES THIS IS GOING TO BE NOKIA’S FIRST LTE 4G PHONE… COMING TO AT&T in usa IN Q1 2012)
* CBD
* 1.4 gHz processor
* 16GB internal storage
What's so great about that?

*800x480 @ 4.3" (WVGA is all WP supports currently)
*Only 16GB built-in (no expandability according to rumours)
*edit* Story Mike linked suggested also 32GB, so that's a positive I guess.

*1.4Ghz Qualcomm looks likes the only adv.
I'm not sure of the exact nature of CPU off-the-top-of-my-head.
And how it'd compare to N9's Cortex-A8...
*Oh & larger battery may result in better staying power.
Then again the larger screen/SoC/OS may remove that, remains to be seen.

And this so-called tipster also seems to think HSPA+ = LTE.
Yes I was peeking at abill's blocked posts, sorry....
