Upgraded to the new 3.8 (now I'm on Diablo) and I get "Captcha Required" when I try to sync to google.

Code:
Starting <_Thread(Google Calendar Sync, initial)>
Running <_Thread(Google Calendar Sync, started)>
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/mcalendar/mcalendar_main.py", line 277, in run
cal_client.ProgrammaticLogin()
File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gdata/service.py", line 318, in ProgrammaticLogin
raise CaptchaRequired, 'Captcha Required'
CaptchaRequired: Captcha Required

update: my password and account were not set. when I installed and went into prefs; I saw data there and assumed it had saved my old login info. I didn't look carefully; the login was "email"!

The captcha required could mean two things :

* you haven't set your google login password and try to access a spammed account

* your account have been blocked by google. To unlock it go to :
https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha

Updating to the version in maemo extras - deval finally fixed the problems. Though oddly I noticed it brought back an event from 2007. I use to have lab meetings scheduled every Wednesday but they ended last year (in 2007). For some odd reason when I synchronized mcalendar with Google it added it to mcalendar (yet it doesn't show up in GPE calendar) or my Google calendars.

I just deleted the event from mcalendar, though I thought I'd note the odd bug.

3.8 looks good for me except it seems to be putting "all day" events on the previous day.

I recently noticed that too. I had an all day event called RELAX for today (to help ease the stress from studying for the GRE and what I soon have to do to prepare for applying to graduate schools). Showed up on Wednesday instead of today.

Maybe something to do with time zones since Khertan is in France? (that would be why he didn't notice?)

REQUEST: Would it be possible to have the name of the day between the "Today" and the "date" ?
I (and others i'm sure) would really appreciate. I know its nothing fancy, but its useful !

Thanks in advance.

I had this happen, too. It may be a difference in how a day is defined. If mCalendar considers 12 pm to be the end of monday and google considers it to be the start of tuesday. I don't care which is used, but if we're going to sync with Google, then it should match, no?
