Interesting turn of events. Seems like Samsung wants to be Nokia in the place of Nokia, and they are retracing their former strategy.
Engadget reports that they paid half a million dollars to the foundation, and committed to more open source friendly strategy. Let's see where this goes.
In general I don't believe in the post-pc era, but the deep penetration of linux in mobile and embedded devices is promising.
EDIT: Seems like off topic don't make it to the active topics. Was always like that? I remember seeing the Nokia Stock thread on the Active Topics regularly...
