So what are plans for Warehouse in Sailfish?

Working on it? Close to release?

There are already applications for Sailfish in OpenRepos, I noticed

Work is in progress, no timeframe for release tho.
Since testing without device is almost impossible and jolla ignored(skipped) my preorder, only base capabiliries for zypper will be released.

I would be interested to help as a device owner / tester. But a bit too busy to be an actual developer.

I will setup the SDK anyhow at home tonight or tomorrow.

I was just now downloading and installing Warehouse for my old N9 and saw this.

no ready-to-use client yet. all repos are zypper compatible, you can follow instructions at publisher repos page. example

Let's say your app needs pyqt to work then I don't want to ship that with every app I make but instead install it as a dep. But if openrepos is zypper compatible it should work with deps.

Ah, yes. All repos are zypper compatible and can supply dependencies. Its all up to publishers and packaging.

As well as Quando Parte installed and pulling extra deps: qt5-qt3d qt5-qtlocation
