Hello Everyone!

So i finally made the decision to purchase the wonderful n900.. 4 years late i know, but hey never later than never right?

Anyway ive been reading through posts and looking up on which type of sellers to beware of on eBay (e.g. Hong Kong sellers), so i went ahead and purchased one from a US Seller. Im still waiting for it to be shipped, but while i wait i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this seller

Power Seller - Should be fine.

As for China/HK sellers - My original N900 came from China/HK. Never had an issue with the phone or seller

Good decision!

Regarding the seller I have no clue. Power seller not always guarantee.
So having looked at the page for N900 be prepared to get a chinese refurbished one (even this is an american seller, he may/can/will distribute chinese refurbishs).
Take a look at the headphone first, as it needs to be WH-205. And I swear it is not.
Second check for chinese stickers and a plastic protector on the back of display (with open keyboard).
Third would be to boot up and check for any old user data.

Nevertheless if any of above matches, it still may be a proper functional device. And serve you long time...
So last step check call reception/sending, loudspeaker, GPS and any other technical stuff you regularly use.

"Based in Hong Kong, sowaytech has been an eBay member since Sep 02, 2008"

That and the feedback -- it'll be a chinese refurb.
