looks good but a third of n9 screen is not wide enough to select on the upper part ...

Anyway do you use alternate input method for n9 ?

I asked for a right/left direction key on bugzilla, they said no. That combined withmultitouch where Shift+arrow could be used for selection and arrow for precise movement. Editing text remains the most challenging aspect of capacitive touch because of the size & width of the capacitive stylus, your fingers (your nails cant be used). its also a very important part due to the erroneous nature of input with the touch keyboard. Currently its just very time consuming and annoying.
I have proposed a capacitive & resistive hybrid before but left and right arrows with Shift+arrow text selection would work for me.

You can modify the keyboard to add left and right keys see:

If you use the swype keyboard then simply swipe right from the swype symbol (bottom left) and you will get arrows.
