You can always flash emmc and fiasco image (you lost all data)

The way to ensure complete factory restore is to flash eMMC, then the rootfs. I just did this on one of my N900s. I was having problems in Ubuntu, but I was successful using a Windows XP SP3 partition in the same computer.

As elros34 said, if you flash the eMMC you will lose all your personal data (including contacts, bookmarks, and other settings, along with all your applications and other documents), so better backup everything first.

If you have a linux system it's always best to try that first. And try different computers if you have problems with a given computer. 32-bit is less problematic than 64-bit OSes, where you might need to use some workarounds.
