ITT we discuss modifications to the GTK theme that generally improve/enhance the n900 experience.

I will go first.

Smaller scroll bars!

For a long time it has bugged the crap out of me that full screened GTK applications still have MAHASSOOV scroll bars usurping my precious precious screen space. Full screen EVince, I am looking at YOU!

By changing line 2808 of /usr/share/themes/default/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

from:

Code:
GtkRange::slider_width = 22
to:

Code:
GtkRange::slider_width = 8
We now have much smaller scroll bars. woot! BY my calculation that gives me an extra 17920 pixels for me to look at.

Maybe "goddamnit" unrelated, but in evince, while You invoke F5 (need remapped hardware keyboard) You're getting *real* fullscreen (without any sliders).

Just for the record.

Because F5 is full screen presentation mode...WITH NO ZOOM OR PANNING!
