so i keep getting this odd message when i attempt to download something using my N9. It says it can't save file because the device is connected to a pc?

I had a similar issue with my n900 when the memory would become read only after downloading a file that the device could not recoginze, But i can still transfer files to the N9 via cable but just cant download stuff using the n9's internet browser...? please help

Do you have Debian chroot installed?

If so.....run "Close Chroot" and should be good to go.

i partially found the problem. Its similar to an issue that I had with the n900. There is a file i have that the N9 can not read so when i attempt to either delete or move it, the device memory locks. I just sucessfully interacted with other files,,,so hopefully i can fix this
