Nope.
Or at least make it then configurable.
I do NOT want any application to start an inet connection on its own!
I thought it is about hooking in to the update interval again, when there was an out-time of connection and MeeCast detects a re-established connection.
(I do change the update intervals with ProfileMatic for switch of WLAN - 2G/3G)

This is more what I was thinking. If I have started Meecast and I push the refresh button, I would like it to start an inet connection if there is no connection running. Currently it does nothing if there is no active connection.

How do I change the Weather service provider after installation setup? I chose yr.no as I heard it was good, but the main screen shows "there appears to be no weather data for this location" (translated from Finnish). Is this a problem with yr.no or problem with something else?
EDIT: Apparently it was a problem with yr.no after all, I found the setting to switch location and from there I was able to choose the service provider too, and I chose the Finnish Meteorology Institute and was able to get weather data just fine.

I've uploades the new version MeeCast for Harmattan (0.9.12) to Openrepos https://openrepos.net/content/vasvlad/meecast
Changelog:
* Added Palanga(Lithuania) to weather.com, yr.no, openweathermap.org sources
* Removed donation link
* Added wake up internet connection for refresh weather forecast
* Added station Poselok rudnika Kupol to gismeteo.ru source
* Fixed problem with Denmark, Germany stations in openweathermap.org source
* Fixed incorrect name of pressure from "Pa" to "kPa"
* Updated Catalan, Dutch, Finnish, Germany, Norway, Slovenian, Spanish,Italian, Czech, Danish translations

I'm using it with Billboard standby screen.

I set the billboard app. to show {meecast-description} on
the standby screen.
Usually, it shows weather description text from MeeCast, like "Clear", "Cloudy", "Snow" or something.
