Hi, thank for this :-)
I do not know, what's wrong, but I do not see the widget in the list of widgets to add to the desktop. I have added the extras-devel catalogue, installed nextalarm, and deactivated extras-devel again. the file /usr/share/applications/hildon-home/nextalarmwidget.desktop (and other nextalarm files) is available, but the widget is not. it is the only widget of Type=qt - can this be the problem?

And a request: Could you add for the next alarm a Time remaining.

Also You can try to install needed libs manually from x-terminal:
