Hello! [This is so off topic, it has nothing to do with tablets at all... I just think the community here is awesome and would know this...]

Guys... I've been using Audacity on my Ubuntu lappy... and... it was ok... But, then, I got a hold of the little brother's Mac with this program called Amadeus Pro on it... Damn!

Is there anything aside from Audacity that Linux has that has multi-track recording and doesn't LAG LIKE A ***** when recording a second, third, or fourth track?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh... btw... the built in mic in that Macbook + Amadeus Pro = Awesome!
I did a quintet with myself!! Give it a listen for me and tell me whatcha think, my fellow tablet geeks?
I use Ableton Live and Guitar Rig on Windows. Linux sound recording scared the sh*t out of me. I could not even get Audacity to work...
Check out Ardour. A steep learning curve, but it holds up well against all other packages, even Pro Tools. And the price is right...
If you just want to tinker with it, try dyne:bolic or Ubuntu Studio - you can boot right from a CD/DVD until you're sure you want to install. Most of the important audio settings are already chosen for you, and each of them includes a heap of excellent media production software (audio, video, photo).
Here are a few other sites you can rummage through for linux sound info:
http://apps.linuxaudio.org/
Hopefully some of these apps can be compiled for the new tablet!
