Well Dinesh seems to be making good progress with his Skeyer keyboard work.

Jolla have stated several times pretty categorically that they have neither the time nor the resources (or, it would appear, the will) to do this, suggesting that this was up to a 3rd party to provide this.
And what better 3rd party than the original Swype?
