Also, have you tried to log out (by selection Log Out.. from the main menu bar) and then trying to re-login without active internet connection. Do you get the same error message? This is strange; myself I have no problems logging in without connection. It would be easier in case I could reproduce the problem. I will next try to uninstal QSpot and delete all user data before reinstall.

Anyway, this is what I did:
-Uninstalled QSpot
-deleted cache and settings folders
-power off from the phone
-power back on
-installed QSpot
-launched with active internet connection
-marked one playlist syncable in offline mode
-quit QSpot (from upper right, not log out button)
-ended internet connection
-launched QSpot again -> works

I did indeed not change anything else than logging stuff. It is possible that the removal of the settings / cache could have some impact, in case some invalid data existed there.

Regarding lyrics. Today Spotify announced that their client will contain apps.
Tunewiki will now be able to run inside Spotify and deliver lyrics.
Maybe this could be integrated with Qspot?
