Hello guys.

But the flasher seems to ignore these firmwares...it does not flash...but when i flash then with the first firmware image ie DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3.280.04.1_PR_LEGACY_280_ARM_RM-696_PRD_signed.bin it flashes but the same problem arises...can't change the network mode.

I never needed to flash my phone yet -knock on wood- but I think you generally can't downgrade.

You have same shitty 3 carrier locked phone. They disabled all modes except 3g. You need a higher pr than 280 since you cant downgeade
