I noticed that my N9 cannot launch the stock browser, how to diagnose this problem without reboot?

Is there any reason you can't reboot? If you still can't launch it after it boots up then I would look further in to it personally.

As it is now, I would hazard a guess that the browser app did not close down properly when you last ended the application? Bringing up Top would answer that if so.

Open the terminal and issue the command
Code:
killall grob
That should fix your problem.

I had the same issue as u did and I just tampered with ps -ef to find the process for the browser. Trial & error and I found out that by killing all grob processes the browser started to work.

Did you do a change of UA without properly signing refhashlist?

I was messing with the UA through Qtweak, but it didn't seem to find files when trying to change UA. Guess it didn't do something right. Any fix?

Run N9QT again, go to tweak M-2 and restore to default, but now WAIT WAIT WAIT until it finish process!
Also, you need clean backup = READ PDF INSTRUCTION !
