when I reply to email messages using modest, this sign ">" appears on every single paragraph line. it messes up the whole message. is there any option to remove it? attached pic as reference.

Doubtful. That is standard formatting to show the message being replied to.

Hah. i would be happy if salesforce.com could to this, and not just quoting the first line. So a + for Modest here.
