If not then you can try that, otherwise I can't really tell what could be the problem.

have you restarted your device? this happened to me before i updated to PR1.3. seems to have something to do with opening the hardware keyboard while connected to the charger, i'm not really sure, but a restart always puts back the virtual keyboard.
