Ok guys,

i'm comepletely furious.
ANOTHER problem with this damn wonderful phone.

I can't turn to nokia anymore as their answer will surely be to give me that glorified camera that happens to be able to call (N8).

I wasn't gonna give up the battle but i'm fed up.
If i won't get a new phone from the store i bought it from i'm calling it quits.
NEVER ever will it be a Nokia phone again.
Their service sucks and is UNRELIABLE.

Can you guys advice me on other phones that also have a hardware keyboard on board.
I'm a "hardcore" internetuser so this must be one of the best attributes of the phone too.

Thanks for your replies.

Well second Nokia n900 phone.
Again problem with the usb port.
I was careful as i had a BIG problem with nokia last time.

I bought my first phone from an official nokia store that had his own noka care center.
The first phone the usb port was only loose but also not recharging the battery. This after a month or 2 after buying it.
They send it Nokia, all i got was a Nokia N8 in return.

After more then 3 months of arguing with the store they searched a nokia N900 phone in their swapstock they said...

Ok,no with this phone the usb port accually FELL out.
So no biggie.
Bought an external charger anyways.

Now i have a malfunction,the phone doesn't boot.Or fails to boot.
UNbelievable,it's just one thing after another.

Nokia themselves doesn't do a thing except giving me a camera that happens to be able to dial.
That's a downgrade for me.

Anyways..will try to get it fixed,or find a technician that will do his best.
But i am no longer naïve and see that this phone won't last and warranty just is a concept that Nokia doesn't grasp or respect.*sigh*.

N8 is nothing more then a camera to me.

N900 was indeed epic...
Otherwize i would've given it up a long time ago.
Always felt it was worth all the problems and the community really looked after us all while nokia dropped us.

But now my hands are tied.
Kind of have to admit to be defeated.

Hey Moody, sorry to hear you've been having problems with your N900s! I would definitely try to get it fixed, although it probably won't be easy.

But moving back to your question, if you want a hardware keyboard, the choices are pretty limited with the new Motorola Droid 4 being the newest and probably best of the Android options.

The keyboard itself sounds fantastic (5-row, tactile and backlit), with the rest of the device being pretty standard compared with most other high-end Android phones. It ships with 2.3.6 Gingerbread, but unfortunately won't get an official upgrade to 4.0 ICS until the 2nd half of the year.

I currently can't find any details on a European release, but following previous convention, I'm guessing it will probably be called the Milestone 4.
