Tried this already, did not help .

My current situation is that all players that depends on gstreamer could not play anything. MPlayer is working fine, even for 720p content.
Code:
~ $ gst-launch-0.10 playbin2 uri=file:///home/user/MyDocs/.videos/9.mp4
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
Pipeline is PREROLLING ...
create_node: dsp node allocate failed
init_node: dsp node creation failed
ERROR: from element /GstPlayBin2:playbin20/GstURIDecodeBin:uridecodebin0/GstDecodeBin2:decodebin20/GstDspVDec:dspvdec0: couldn't start node
ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll.
Setting pipeline to NULL ...
Freeing pipeline ...
I've reinstall some gst* packages. I've also try to roll-back everything that 720p howto is changing, as described here. I load the default kernel settings. Nothing helped.

Ideas are welcomed .

Ok got it now . Works like a charm.

The problems seem to be that while I was downloading pali's kernel packages, he was uploading them in the same time. So looks like some packages were older builds than others.

Anyway, I notice that the time of my packges were pretty close to upload time, so I redownload everything, reinstall the kernel again and copy bridgedriver.ko.

After a reboot, I saw video starting playback for 1 sec. and then again "unsupported format".
So I did shutdown and fresh start.
MP now plays everything as expected.
I have also tested the new camera-ui and record 720p video.
I'm happy N900 user now. I will sleep better tonight.

Fixed after reinstalling "KP V49" download the latest version.

Reproductive function, although the "MP" is fair play. Better with mplayer.

I will try the camera-ui version modified to record HD.

Thanks to all who have contributed and / or helped those who had trouble getting it going.

Where's the files for the modified camera-ui? I've done the modifications from the first post and playback is OK, but have been waiting to have the UI fixed, now apparently it's working...

This do not help much if you are noob....

@Tousif zeba

Better wait a bit, most likely this feature will come in easier to apply way after few weeks.

All right, I guess you're right, it doesn't help if you're a noob. But it's a succinct answer to a clear question... Not the rest of his post.
