Did anyone else notice this? Pop out the camera (on the N800, obviously!) and have it look at you. Now slowly spin your N800 upside down, keeping the screen towards you (and keep looking at the image, dufus!).

See? Cool, innit?

So how do you get an inverted image with this thing?

are you suggesting there's an orientation sensor?

All I know is I've made people, innocent onlookers mind you, almost wet themselves since I dicovered that trick.

What happens is this: if you turn the N800 around its Z-axis (or whatever: you have to rotate it so that the screen keeps directed at yourself), the camera-image re-orients itself as soon as you've turned the N800 180 degrees so that the image always stays upright, even if the N800 is upside down.

now because we are geeks, is there a way to rotate the n800, screen side to the user, as well as the web cam along its direction of rotation, to see if the user and the device barf on the quasi-euphoric bedspin...

It looks like the camera-image rotates 90 degrees for every 45 degrees the N800 rotates.
