I flashed both eMMC and rootfs and there was a speed/response jump at first but once all the apps/settings/contact etc were restored it returned to normal for response and battery life. Not sure if it has had an affect on anything else but nothing i have noticed. p.s. if you do reflash the eMMC remember to copy the "cities" folder to your memory card then after just copy it back and you won't have to download all the maps again
