When you surf the net you're using HTTP and port 80 most of the time, that's what the application manager is using to, for installing applications. So that sounds a bit weird indeed. If you have any more info it could help. Does it say anything particular in the application manager log, for example?

it looks like a firewall block but my pc and laptop are both use wifi and no problems.
any ideas?
