I installed the new version, but I can't drag at the bottom to switch pages. And I still get half a screen with the whole rotate thing.

No dragging at all. Installed the launcher the first time.

PS
Very impressive, thank you.

Sorry guys, I might have packaged the wrong version previously. I've updated the package on the first page.

The dragging works for me.
You have to drag exactly on top of the dotted switch dots at the bottom.
Trying to drag above the dots exits the application.

On a side note, after installing 0.20, I received 2 menu switchers at the taskbar, 1 for the old Application menu and the second for new app menu.
Unselecting then selecting in the Control Panel fixed the issue.

I too am having the app launcher not display my background.
Telescope shows it but the app launcher doesn't.

home-background.conf
Code:
[Hildon Home]
BackgroundImage=file:///media/mmc1/pix/MisaRed.jpg
CachedAs=/home/user/.background-cache/ab3b138d
Red=0
Green=0
Blue=0
Mode=Cropped

Let me guess, you have background set from external SD card (/media/mmc1), but card was removed from slot?
Telescope has special workaround for this case

how about reading from the cache rather then from the file?

Ask angun33

Actually, we already started process of merging Launcher & Telescope into the single project. It should include strong sides of both projects.
