Hi there! here some crap thread you can blame on, but i'm waaay curious to know if this works on N950, cause depending on this, may be i will buy or not a N9.
Ok, so can somebody test if http://soundcloud.com works PERFECT on N950 browser? Audio player, dashboard, embedded player on webs, etc? Can you post a video? Please?? xD
It's my most visited web, and i dont want to buy the phone to realize the web is not working on it, like in my N8

Thanks for the understanding

I'm curious what http://flashplayerversion.com turns up, if anything. Flash, without Flash has been conflicting a bit.

I'm interested too... and not also. Now mobile corporations like Nokia, Apple and Android OEMs think more like "Ok, so we develop an Youtube app and all done! No flash needed." Or "this few top-ranted webs have a HTML5 version, so it's everything ok, our web browser can handle it". People want more from flash than just Youtube. Flash is not only videos on the web.

BTW, the web is implementing right now (July 2011) HTML5 embedded players, so i'm not interested in flash, but the N950 HTML5 capabilities.
Also interested in how open the Notifications desktop of the phone will it be, to implement other webs/services. I want the Soundcloud Dashboard news all mixed with my calls, SMS, tweets and more.

So what about your N950, Gerbick, i know you have one, no? Will you be so kind?

lol why do you think gerbick has one? The n950 is not final firmware though, it's not really a reliable test.

Sorry. I do not have access to a Nokia N950. If I did have one, I would have answered your prior question without hesitation.

Good luck on finding your answer though.

http://flashplayerversion.com on the N950 (pre release software):
If you're reading this message, it means you either don't have the Flash Player installed, or you have Javascript turned off in your browser.
edit: I don't want to publish HTML5 benchmarking results because as said, it's pre release software and a pretty old build...
But it looks fairly good.

Ouch! well, thanks for test it. About the HTML5, the tests from conversations.nokia.com/ scores a very high puntuation, higher than iPad 2, Galaxy SII and even desktop browsers. The problem is how is this traduced in real navigation cases (you know, even symbian has HTML5 and flash lite 4, but no ****ing web runs on it)
The browser is the only point the N9 is worse than N900, because beat MicroB is way complicated, just hope the port of Fennec brings us 1st-class browsing experience (more fluid and less lagging than in N900)

Here is another video of the browser, shows it is usually quicker than iPhone4.
