flasher.exe is in c:\Program Files (x86)\Nokia\flasher, or c:\Program Files\Nokia\flasher

Either copy from there, or copy firmware images to that location. (Then use cd to where flasher is, in your command prompt)

It just constantly amazes me how many different kinds of blunders windoze users manage to commit for simple command prompt task!

It must be so that the current clicking-on-pretty-pictures UX idiom makes dummies of people....

Not necessarily. I think it's more like, "the current clicking-on-pretty-pictures UX idiom is more suitable for dummies". Without them, the dummies would not even approach a computer, such as was the case back in the 1970s and 1980s.

I would not say it is necessarily a bad thing, although it makes some jobs that little harder for you when you have to explain something to a dummy who only understands pretty pictures.

I am not a dummie i was just a bit confused with all cmd stuff since i was not using it in years, i am pretty sure if you go to photography forum or such you would get puzzeled somewhere in your learning curve and ask ”dummie” question to ssomeone. So if you cant help someone dont damage the thread with insults

btw thank to rest of the people who where very helpful.
