hello, i am just got my N9 last week.
and I found the process "/usr/lib/tracker/tracker-miner-fs" consumes a lot of CPU usage, like the attachment.
Is it a normal case or anything wrong with my N9?
thanks a lot

Did your phone get the 1.2 update yet?
I would try to killall that process and you could delete the databases in
/home/user/.cache/tracker
You have to be root though, maybe need to use inception + opensh.
Maybe back them up and restore one at a time? Probably your contacts and messages are in there, so you might not want to do this, or if you just got the phone it could be easier to reflash.

If your phone is loaded with a lot of music of movies it might be normal though, for a few hours at least. If you wait like 24 hours and it's still going I would reflash or try deleting those databases.

oh yeah, you can try typing tracker-control to see what it's doing
might give you some hints...
you can try to find tracker-miner-fs.log also. Maybe interesting.

Yes, it's because of the music. i deleted the .db file in /home/user/.cache/tracker and restart the tracker-control, then it's fine.

However, I think it's weird for scanning the media library using so much CPU capacity.

warning: i deleted both meta.db & meta.db-wal which also deleted all my messages. perhaps u should just delete one of them? anyway.. at least this fixed it for me. thanks!

also i couldn't enter that directory from the phone terminal for some reason. so i just logged in with the developer user using SDK mode/USB cable, worked fine
