hi!

i know i should search but i wanna make sure and read all your say about this.

i have a Nokia e72 which has a Symbian OS v9.x 3rd Edition FP2.

all my apps are installed on the microSD card (8gb).

now if is switch microsd (16gb) and transfer every single file (yes even viruses and hidden files) from my 8gb microsd to that new microSd, will all my installed apps still work without reinstalling and still keep all the data?

Thanks.

In theory yes, it should work, in practice it's a little bit hit and miss. It depends how secure the programmers made the applications and how you copy the files from one storage device to the other. You're on the right track though, just copying absolutely everything as is, nothing more you can do. Anything keying itself to a specific SD card will need to be reinstalled I guess - I think only mapping applications really go this far though.
