I have GPE Calendar on my device with three calendars:
  1. A local one
  2. A subscription to my Google Calendar (choose the 'iCal' link and put that in the URL field in GPE Calendar)
  3. A subscription to my Outlook calendar via ScheduleWorld

More info can be found in this mailing list post.

HTH,

Andrew

hi,
when you said "subscription", you can't publish right ?
If yes, do you know if a "real" synchronization exists ? In my case, I'm happy with subscribe to google calendar but because it is my principal calendar, I would like to publish too !

Correct. GPE Calendar (at least on the 770) currently only supports calendars which go one way (either publish or subscribe)

Cheers,

Andrew

I've been following this topic, and using GPE to subscribe to my scheduleworld calendar will exactly meet my needs. However I can't seem to get that working.

aflegg, I've followed your steps as you posted in your mailing list link.

in GPE:
1) Click the "New" button.
2) Enter a title and description.
3) Set the type to "Subscribe".
4) Enter the feed URL and other details.
5) Click "Save".

GPE doesn't receive any events from my SW calandar. What do I enter for the URL in GPE?
if GPE doesn't support syncML, then my guess is "http://sync.scheduleworld.com/funambol/ds" is not right.
then it must be using the webDAV or something in the scheduleworld preferences.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

[edit]
Well, I was able to subscribe using Mozilla Sunbird. The link I entered was webcal://www.scheduleworld.com/sw/webDAVDir/my calendar.ics

However, when I tryied that with GPE on the 770, I get a message "webcal://www.scheduleworld.com/sw/webDAVDir/my calendar.ics 4 cannot connect to destination"

I also tried changing the URL to http:// rather than webcal:// and I get the following message: "Error updating calendar superbondbond: invalid value in attribute RRULE."

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Go to the preferences page, enable "Password protected WebDAV" and copy the iCal URL (starts with "http://" ends with ".ics") to the URL field in GPE Calendar.

HTH,

Andrew

I did the same as aflegg said. Works but I can't publish.
