so, now that there is only one back-button in most android apps, i tried to get rid of the bottom bar completely.

i removed it like described here:
http://forum.jollausers.com/android-...-bar-question/

this worked without problems, but now i'd like to move back by swipe gesture like in native apps. there are some apps, which enable gestures, like this:
http://bexstore.store.aptoide.com/ap...one%20Gestures
or this:
http://rsdamasceno.store.aptoide.com...6293/SwipeBack

i installed some of them, but all need to be enabled in Android accessibility settings, which we don't have on Jolla.

Is there any way to enable them, by editing some file or some other trick?

SwipeBack is an Xposed Module that does it but I don't know whether the Xposed framework works on the Jolla...

Even though I think it's a nice idea, both apps you mentioned support only swipe from edge which is impossible to do on Jolla, as all edge swipes are reserved for system gestures.

I don't think you'll find any app that allows to use in app gestures, because it would interfere with scrollable apps like maps.

make a 'back key' other half to provide a back key on the back side of the phone?

i currently disable the android UI and only use apps that have a built in back button, and most do tbh, the majority of the google apps do, just some instances were they don't and am stuck lol

if I could assign the power lock button as the back button ala N900 when it had android it would indeed be perfect.
